What we found was 3 baby owls just chillin in the sand. We walked up right up to them and they just stared at us. One of them started burrowing in to the ground? Did you know owls burrow? Wtf planet are we on. Later in the afternoon we stopped at a rest area and there was a kitten that had been abandoned there and lived out around the rocks catching lizards and being a boss. Then we stopped at this random museum in the middle of nowhere completely dedicated to proving that aliens have been on earth since the dinosaurs and control every aspect of human history. ______________ Yeah, today has been weird. We actually spent money on two delicious meals and even treated ourselves to fancy cocktails. YOT26O!! It should be a pretty great night. ________________ Last night, we had a night off and went to a house show with a wonderfully curated bill of Long Beach artists. It was nice to have a night to just chill and enjoy the bands. It’s been a very long time since we have had that and Slice, Gracie Grey and Pileup all killed it. There has been a lot of excitement the past few days and needless to say I am ready to take a long California nap in the van this afternoon before the show. Anyways, I am super going to do that now.
